Stumbled upon this newly opened Nyonya restaurant in Subang and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! We tried quite a few dishes during our visit. The Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah was delicious — the rice was fragrant, the sambal had a nice kick, and the ayam berempah was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The Nyonya Curry Mee was rich and full of flavour, with that comforting blend of spices and creamy coconut milk. We also had the Nasi Lemak with Nyonya Curry Chicken, which was hearty and satisfying — perfect for those who love saucy, flavour-packed meals. For dessert, we shared their Mochi Burnt Cheesecake — soft, a little chewy, with a slightly torched top and a mellow cheesy taste. A great twist on the usual burnt cheesecake, and something we’d definitely return for. Drinks were beautifully presented and refreshing. The Latte was smooth with a nice balance, while the Blue Tide came in a dreamy ocean blue that looked almost too pretty to drink. The Strawberry Matcha Latte was my personal favourite — creamy, slightly earthy from the matcha, with just the right hint of strawberry sweetness. One thing that makes this place even more special is their extra offerings — they provide Nyonya kuih for events, and even have latte art classes! A nice bonus for anyone looking to pick up a fun skill while enjoying good food. The ambience is chill and comfortable, with a nice mix of Nyonya charm and modern cafe vibes. It's a spot where you can unwind, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet solo meal. Bonus points: Parking is easy and free, which is a big deal in Subang! Also worth mentioning — it’s a Muslim-friendly restaurant, so it’s suitable for everyone. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit. Delicious food, cosy setting, and a few nice surprises along the way. Next time, I’m definitely bringing my friends here.

Stepping into Ryn Cafe feels like a warm embrace. The nasi lemak is good, not spicy (to me). They have mixture of both local Msian kiuh and some choice of pastry. Soft melodies drift through the air, creating a soothing backdrop for conversation. While the food menu offers a moderate selection, the cafe overall is nice, wth its inviting ambiance andl coffee. Parking is easy and near. Worth a visit especially for residents nearby.

Local Malaysian fusion food. Food is prepared one at a time. So, need to wait. The nonya curry meehoon was good. The nasi lemak is fragrance but gets only a quarter slide of egg only. Could be better. The ayam rempah is well fried. The sambal is good but too sweet. Need to cut down the sugar, for health reasons. Parking is not much of an issue on Sunday afternoon. The place is quiet and suitable if you want to chit chat here. The beverage is a little pricey.

Had a lovely, simple breakfast on Mother’s Day with the family at this fairly new restaurant. It’s quite rare to find modern cafes that serve kuehs and rice dishes as their signature items, so this was a refreshing find. It was our first visit and we really went all out to try their offerings. We ordered: Kuihs: Seri Muka, Kuih Jagung, Tepung Pelita, Onde-onde, Ketayap Savoury dishes: Roti Jala, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Daging Goreng Drinks: Signature 3 Layer, Signature Brûlée, Choco Strawberry Everything tasted great, but the standouts were definitely the nasi dishes and their signature drinks. The Seri Muka was especially memorable—rich, classic, and perfectly made. As a Mother’s Day gesture, they offered a complimentary platter of kuehs for all mothers, which was a thoughtful and sweet touch. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and proud to recommend their specialties.

New neighbourhood cafe with local flavours. Nasi lemak bungkus was good, plenty of kuih selections. Coming back for the mee Siam and Nasi Dagang.

Here serves Nyonya-inspired local mains, and a few must-tries are their Nyonya Curry Mee, Nasi Lemak Kari Ayam, and Nasi Lemak Ayam Rempah, the curry is fragrant and flavorful but not too oily. You also can found handmade Nyonya kuih here, display near the counter. They have unique Mochi Burnt Cheesecake as dessert, worth trying! What makes this place stand out is their fusion-style drinks with Nyonya twists. Signature drinks include the Ryn’s 3 Layer Latte, Onde Onde Latte, Strawberry Matcha Latte, and Special Long Black. I personally love the Onde Onde Latte and the Strawberry Matcha. The vibe here is comfy and chill, the walls are decorated with several paintings, so it kinda feels like stepping into an art gallery while enjoying your meal. They also jumped on the trend and started hosting Coffee Rave events, and I was lucky enough to be part of it!
